News :Danny Boyle takes in Manjha

Danny Boyle has chosen a short film called 'Manjha' to be part of his Blu-ray DVD release of Slumdog Millionaire. This critically acclaimed short film is directed by Rahi Anil Barve.

Anurag Kashyap who is the Creative Producer of Rahi's film says, "Rahi Anil Barve is the most imaginative mind I have come across in this country so far. His imagination gives me a complex. When I met him the first time, it did not take me two seconds to say that lets do whatever you want to do which eve! r way you want to do it".
Rahi Anil Barve's forthcoming film is titled 'Tumbad' – a movie based on folk tales of Maharashtra with an undercurrent of horror.
Danny said to the media: "I'm delighted to include 'Manjha' on the Blu-ray DVD release of Slumdog Millionaire throughout the world. 'Manjha' is an extraordinary film. With little resources it is visually stunning, emotionally captivating, surprising and gripping, it's everything a short film should be, and I look forward with great anticipation to the Director Rahi's next project 'Tumbad'.
